Thomson Airways Boeing 757-200 G-BYAW ex Britannia Airways. |
Quick story at some shots I took. Member of my family is disabled we went to a disable van were I manage to get some interesting shots before boarding the plane. G-BYAW is a Boeing 757-200 from Thomson Airways with winglets & new Tui livery she was new to Britannia Airways in 1995, G-BYAW was taxied to park to start her first flight of the day.
Thomson Airways Boeing 757-200 G-OOBC ex Air 2000. |
Another Thomson Airways aircraft this time G-OOBC new to Air 2000 in 2003 one of the later 757 aircraft built. With Air 2000 in early 2000's Air 2000 was a parent to First Choice & decide to become an airline company First Choice Airways.
Vietnam Airlines Boeing 777-200 VN-A149 new to Vietnam Airlines in 2005. |
Now we about to fly longer haul! Air China and Vietnam Airlines are 2 companies fly the longest duration 12 hours less or more to Gatwick. This aircraft I saw that caught my eye is Vietnam Airlines VN-A149 is a Boeing 777-200 that just arrived from Vietnam parking to the gate. Vietnam Airlines fly to Gatwick from 2 Vietnamese airports in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
British Airways Boeing 777-200 G-VIIN new to BA in 1998. |
As I took photos of British Airways's short haul planes Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737's now we go bigger! This is my first BA Boeing 777 shot for long haul destinations all I need is a Boeing 747, 767, 787 Dreamliners and Airbus A380. What is G-VIIN doing? she is resting I think she just had a long haul flight done.
This unknown registration Flybe aircraft might be my final shot ever in Gatwick as they have now scrapped all of their domestic flights apart from Newquay which it will end this October. I think Flybe's Embraer fleet might have stop in Gatwick as I heard it's currently a Dash 8 Q400.
