What happen to British Jet?

British Jet was an owner of Hello AG based in France. This aircraft was Swiss registered HB-JIB is a Mc Donnell Douglas MD-90-30 was new to Cyprus Turkish Airlines in 1997 ex TC-KTD. MD-90 was one of the latest Mc Donnell Douglas aircraft to be built back in the late 90s before it was merged to Boeing.

This aircraft was delivered to Hello in August 2004 until 2005 it joined British Jet. Now you might be thinking how many fleet British Jet had and what routes it operated, British Jet headquarters was in Malta it only had 1 fleet and it only operated from Malta to major airports in the United Kingdom except Northern Ireland.

In 2008 British Jet was withdrawn when it was leased from Hello but Air Malta extended the MD-90 fleet January 2008 only for a lease still from Hello until it brought back to Hello fleet  in April 2008. Before Hello Company was shut down in 2012, Hello decided to sent HB-JIB to Delta Airlines in the United States in February 2010. It's now registered as N918DH.
