Virgin Atlantic fleet information (January 2018)


Update fleet information about British carrier Virgin Atlantic 

Arrivals

Airbus A330-200 

Three Airbus A330-200 are due to enter service shortly with from a former German carrier Air Berlin originally new to LTU. It will be possible to be based at three UK airports in Manchester including seasonal service to Orlando, USA from Glasgow International and Belfast International. 
  • G-VMNK - delivered to LTU in May 2001 D-APLA
  • G-VMIK - delivered to LTU in November 2001 D-ALPB
  • G-VNWD - delivered to LTU in May 2002 D-ALPF

G-VMNK is already in Manchester, UK for inspection of the aircraft before entering service while the others are currently in Shannon, Ireland should arrive soon. 

Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

  • G-VWOO currently at Charleston, USA for a test flight
One other Boeing 787-9 aircraft is currently unknown registration possibly at Seattle, USA at the final assembly point.

Withdrawn
Airbus A340-600

  • G-VNAP delivered in February 2005 
Although the aircraft was stored in Lourdes, France from 24th February 2015 till recently in December 2017, rumors that G-VNAP could return to Virgin Atlantic fleet temporarily with plans of retiring all of it's Airbus A340-600  next year with the replacement of the new Airbus A350-1000 and also replacing Boeing 747-400.
