Aviation in Amsterdam, The Netherlands January 2020

Aviation in Amsterdam Schipol Airport was amazing to spot and watch planes. In this blog, we're going to take a look at airliners in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I didn't took a lot of photos while I was enjoying my birthday I hope you'll enjoy.

United Airlines N66051 Boeing 767-400ER new to Continental Airlines in 2000 taken 26th January 2020.
I rarely see Boeing 767-400ER from US airliners. You'll mostly see these 767-400 within Europe from United Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

Delta Air Lines N830NW Airbus A330-300 delivered in 2017 taken 26th January 2020.
Delta is the biggest hub in The Netherlands code-share KLM & Skyteam. Delta is almost everywhere in the Non-Schengen area of the airport from Boeing 767 to Airbus A330.

Air Canada C-FTCA Boeing 767-300ER new to Canadian Airlines International in 1989 taken 27th January 2020.
Air Canada only has a few Boeing 767-300ER left in Air Canada's fleet. These Boeing 767's are due to be retired from Air Canada this year & to be replaced by Airbus A330-300. Anyway, this classic Boeing 767 arrived from Toronto Pearson, Canada from taxiway Quebec. This aircraft seem to be visiting Amsterdam a lot because I've seen this two days in a row after arriving in Toronto later flying back to Amsterdam.

Saudi Arabian Airlines Cargo TC-ACF Boeing 747-400SF new to All Nippon Airways in 1993 ex JA8962 taken 27th January 2020.
I've missed out some of the freighters so lucky, Saudi Arabian Airlines Cargo Boeing 747-400SF arrived from Saudi Arabia. One interesting thing about this aircraft, when it was delivered to All Nippon Airways; it was covered in Pokemon special livery with characters on the fuselage & four Pokeballs on the engines. I think at the time, Pokemon just came out in Japan in the mid 90's some of their ANA fleet have Pokemon special branding on their 747's & also 767 & 777.

LOT Polish Airlines SP-LLG Boeing 737-400 delivered in 1997 taken 27th January 2020.
LOT still has their Boeing 737 Classics in the fleet with three Boeing 737-400 left in the LOT fleet. Of course recently couple of their Boeing 737 Classics was taken off the fleet so LOT might keep holding on these lovely old birds unless they mean't to be replaced by Boeing 737 MAX. This aircraft had interesting life too; it became with LOT ever since but did you know?? SP-LLG went to Agean as SX-BGN in Greece in 2004. And then later on in 2007 it wen't back to Poland Centralwings & back it's original registration. In 2009, LOT was branded once again as LOT Charters until finally back to LOT Polish Airlines in 2011.

Air Baltic CS-CSI Airbus A220-300 delivered in 2018 taken 27th January 2020.
Air Baltic seen departing Amsterdam primary using Airbus A220-300.

Emirates A6-ENP Boeing 777-300ER delivered in 2014 taken 27th January 2020.
Emirates operates daily from Dubai, UAE either for Boeing 777-300ER & Airbus A380.

Ryanair EI-DCL Boeing 737-800 delivered in 2006 taken 27th January 2020.
Yes, Ryanair operates Amsterdam daily to/from Dubin, Ireland. This looks familiar depending where you live in Europe as I last seen when it was a Malta base for few months. This aircraft is currently based in Dublin airport. Other Dutch flights also Ryanair operates from Masstricht.

KLM PH-BFW Boeing 747-400M delivered in 2000 taken 27th January 2020.
Only few Boeing 747's left from KLM almost the end of an era of the Queen of the Skies. Their hasn'nt been a lot of Boeing 747's from KLM when I was last in Amsterdam a couple of years ago so make the most of spotting it where ever you live.

Flybe G-JECM De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q400 delivered in 2006 taken 28th January 2020.
Of course my recent flight with Flybe. This was my final Flybe flight for the re-brand to Virgin Connect. Soon we will see full Virgin brand on current Flybe aircraft in the UK & the rest of Europe.

KLM PH-BCG Boeing 737-800 delivered in 2019 taken 27th January 2020.
To make the final photo here, have three different liveries from KLM. In front of me, we have a newer look to KLM also new livery. Next to it is the old KLM livery Boeing 737-700 also with KLM 100 brand. And we have SkyTeam special livery also from KLM all parked up.
