What happen to First Choice Airways?

OK so this topic I will walk about what happened to First Choice Airways? Please note I only have one photo I never took any photos from the past & share my worst experience try to spot one.

So lets start with First Choice Airways's early life. It all started back in 1987 as Air 2000 from Manchester, UK callsign JETSET. First Choice is a British Travel Agency for Air 2000 flights & hotels in Europe, North America and Africa until 2004 First Choices decided they wan't to start an airline company called First Choice Airways with the fleet of 5 Airbus A320-200, 3 Airbus A321, 14 Boeing 757-200 and 6 Boeing 757-300ER (As of May 2008) however First Choice Airways ordered Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners unfortunately it never made it to First Choice Airways because the airline company merged with TUI in March 2008. So the fleet from First Choice Airways exchanges Boeing 757 & 767 fleet to Thomsonfly (before name changed to Thomson Airways in 2008) so now First Choice is now with Thomson Airways still part of Travel Shop with Thomson Holidays.

So now I explained much details I can on First Choice Airways now I talk my worst spotting experience. When I was a teenager I wen't home to Malta on holiday from 2005-2008 every Tuesday night First Choice Airways arrives in Malta at 8,9 or 10pm because I had my own digital camera with only 5.8MP at the time my old camera can't pick up night shots & at the time I was school & college in the UK I didn't know First Choice Airways didn't exist in my first year of college in 2007/8. So finally in 2014 before I walk UK Immigration in London Gatwick I saw Thomson Airways  G-OOBM Boeing 767-300ER in January 11th 2014. The livery was still in First Choice Airways it was never in Thomson Airways livery because the aircraft was withdrawn from use in 30th March 2015 it joined Neos in 25th May 2015 as I-NDDL.

New warning message for YouTube

I have been putting this on Facebook for awhile I decided to put this on Blogger so you understand what is going on with the Warning message. Why I have add this Warning message? because everytime I seen videos from amateurs or plane spotters. So as an Aviation Photographer/Filmmaker this message will be only be on YouTube because any trips I go that has either accidents, incidents or crashes this might share on News social media sites. This message will also include bad turbulence & emergency landing on flight, hijackings from spotting locations, terrorists from spotting locations and earthquakes for example Japan's earthquakes in 2011 that shook Narita Airport and Sendai Airport flooded during Tsunami.

EasyJet new livery

Let's talk about EasyJet's last livery. Since day 1 in 1995 the livery was just orange on the tail with orange EasyJet.com brand on the fuselage & full orange on the engine with EasyJet logo in white. I don't know much about the Boeing 737 livery it's the same as current Airbus. One has full orange with 200th Airbus look there is more to come.

EasyJet G-EZEZ Airbus A319 seen in London Gatwick, UK taken 23rd January 2013.
There is also special brands to promote EasyJet's hub all over Europe like here is one I took in London Gatwick, UK 3 years ago. This livery is Berlin Brandeburg Airport. 2 years ago the special colours was repainted to "Love Napoli".

EasyJet G-EZUG Airbus A320-200 seen in Malta taken 14th July 2013.
Another special colour I took in Malta! Although the look of EasyJet is like the same old look instead EasyJet has Moscow at the back. Why? because in 2013 EasyJet started flights from London Gatwick, UK to Moscow Domodedovo, Russia I'm not sure it operated Manchester, UK. However recent news from EasyJet is that the airline will no longer fly to Moscow by 21st March 2016.

Lets take a look at EasyJet's brand new livery.

EasyJet G-EZOU Airbus A320-200 seen in Malta taken 5th January 2016.

My first comment on EasyJet's new livery is WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! I was meant to make this blog almost a year ago I didn't see any new liveries in 2015 at the time. What make EasyJet improved the livery? the orange stripes is on the fuselage, no EasyJet logo on the engines, tail livery is still orange they added curve at the as you can see at the back of the aircraft to make it more colourful and EasyJet logo is white on the fuselage which I like because the old livery it really makes my eyes go funny it looked bad in my opinion. The orange on the winglets I'm not going to comment because it looks like the same on the old livery. This is a brand new aircraft just 2 months old.

And finally I will talk about the 20 years livery. Because I haven't seen the aircraft I will explain. The livery is similar to the new livery instead it's less white on the fuselage there is pinkish background with big 20 because EasyJet started 20 years ago.
