Air Malta fleet information 17th March 2020

Move away from Coronavirus. Our national carrier Air Malta will be sadly withdrawing one main aircraft where it originally began from the birth of Air Malta.

9H-AEI originally delivered to Air Malta in April 2004 will be leaving the Air Malta fleet the end of this month. It will going to be joining GetJet Airlines in Lithuania. As aircraft starts to get older, Air Malta's future will be bringing more Airbus A320neos into the fleet one-by-one. Although in future their will be no plans for retro brand for any future Air Malta aircraft, I hope it will introduce it again with 9H-AEO in Valletta European Capital of Culture 2018 will be the only special livery left.
