Wow air ceased operations 28th March 2019

Icelandic low-cost carrier announced today WOW Air has ceased operations with flights operating from Keflavík, Iceland are now cancelled. The main cause of the airline to cease operation is due to financial reasons with thousands of passengers are stranded to get their journey back to Iceland with the only advice is to book with another airline maybe Icelandair.

TF-PRO Airbus A321 delivered in 2017 taken 31st January 2019.
The last time I saw WOW Air in operation was a month ago in Dublin, Ireland on it's scheduled flight from  Keflavík, Iceland. For an low-cost airliner being so young, WOW Air has been struggling for seeking partnership maybe with Icelandair in my opinion and now it kicked the bucket & ceased operation straight away. WOW Air has served flights into the short & long haul market with destinations throughout Europe, United States and Canada with mix fleets of the Airbus A320 family and Airbus A330.

TF-GMA Airbus A321 delivered in 2016 taken 1st February 2019.
This was my final photo of WOW Air departing Dublin Airport back to Iceland TF-GMA originally planned for LAN Airlines as CC-BEK it was cancelled instead delivered to WOW Air in 2016.
