What happen to Efly?

Efly was a low cost carrier by Luigi Crisipino for luxurious and low cost flights for Sicily and Malta. Efly first operated on 19th September 2009. Efly only operated from Malta to Catania but unfortunately the airline failed it's licence to operate as a commercial airline it only operated for 2 short months. This was due to tough competition for Malta-Catania routes just like Air Malta currently operates and Efly struggles with entry and vehicle ramp access in Malta International Airport.

This aircraft registered 9H-ELE is a BAE 146 built by British Aerospace was new to Makung Airlines in 1994 ex  B-1778. In 2003 it joined Flybe fleet ex G-JEBG with Mansion Casinos painted until in 2009 it ported to Malta. What happen to the aircraft now? This photo taken 29th January 2013 is still stored at Medavia hanger in Malta

If Efly was still in service it would have been a good service to operate not just Malta-Catania but other very short haul destinations like Malta-Tripoli, Malta-Palermo and Malta-Tunis in my opinion.
