Aviation in Bournemouth, UK 24th June 2018

Bournemouth, UK doesn't have much airliners especially for this time of the Summer Season now in Summer 2019 more flights will be added for Bournemouth Airport after Brexit by TUI Airways and Ryanair added one new flight to Paphos, Cyprus in couple of months. in June 24th while I waited for my flight to Malta, their is an Airbus A340-600 one of the ex Etihad Airways no photo taken unfortunately and various Boeing 737 Classics from Swift Air & private airliners parked by this apron due to the space of the Airbus A340 is.  

Oman Royal Air Force 505 Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules.

Then I came across this Lockheed Martin C-130J Hercules from Oman Royal Air Force. Due to parking space, this old Hercules parked by the main apron of the airport & lucky to take this photo from the departure side. It's been in Bournemouth Airport for VIP visit till I arrived back in July, the aircraft left.

TUI Airways is always the main hub for Bournemouth Airport however their scheduled service is very limited compare to Ryanair. With TUI's three scheduled flights all are Spain and the rest are still Spain, one for Greece, Italy and Cyprus. Then next year TUI Airways starts more seasonal flights for Spain, Greece and Turkey. 

And finally Ryanair EI-DWA Boeing 737-800 & the first flight of the day. This was a Bournemouth based aircraft so after it arrived back to Bournemouth Airport from Malta, it continued on it's next flight to Alicante, Spain then came back in the late evening. Now we just have to wait & see for Ryanair's future especially in Bournemouth because of Brexit.

Those are the short airliners I've seen I Bournemouth Airport unfortunately & not much to see. If you are a spotter to check out the airport other than Ryanair and TUI Airways, these are the main hubs you'll see with no other airliners apart EasyJet in the Winter.
