Boeing 737 Next Generation information - the final production
Boeing has finally ended it's production of the Boeing 737NG where it all started back in February 9th 1997 of it's first flight with the Boeing 737-600 then the introduction in December 17th 1997 to Southwest Airlines.
We're talking about the Boeing 737-800 the world's popular Boeing 737NG aircraft surviving it's popular customers to KLM, Ryanair, Norwegian and Southwest Airlines. Originally built in 1997 & delivered in 1998 to Hapaq-Lloyd in Germany it proved to be a long stretched version to replaced Boeing 737-400 competing Airbus A320.
KLM received it's final Boeing 737NG production the Boeing 737-800 that recently arrived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in December 18th 2019 registered PH-BCL.
Since the Boeing 737 MAX production will be suspended next month & currently grounded worldwide from it's airliners, it's too early to tell if Boeing 737 MAX will continue it's production & delivered Boeing will be facing more crisis in 2020 for their future of the Boeing 737 MAX.
