Primera Air ceased operations 1st October 2018

Danish low-cost carrier Primera Air has announced today the airline has ceased operations today & file for bankruptcy shutting down their operations with only 1 day left till a British charter Monarch has the same issue coming up to one year. This has been also a shame for the airline's future when Primera Air launched their Transatlantic flights from London Stansted, UK to North American in the USA and Canada. The airline planned the same thing from other EU airports to North America with their Airbus A321neo and Boeing 737 MAX series. Their has also been set back such as Primera Air launched flights from Birmingham, UK to Palma de Mallorca, Spain it didn't last long.

This means now the airline will have a loss of almost 300 jobs, their future fleet for the Airbus Neo and Boeing 737 MAX has been cancelled with only Primera Air customers stranded.

Primera Air YL-PS1 Boeing 737-800 seen in Malta taken 12th April 2017.
I do have more of my Primera Air photos somewhere most are taken in Malta as a charter use. I'm sorry to hear about the airline's loss and as a spotter, you will be missed.....

RIP
